Peter was born c1831 on Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands. The Le Page is known to have come from Guernsey and were probably connected with the Norman Conquest of England in 1066. According to the Victorian Death Index he is the son of Peter (sen.) and Margaret (nee Le Provost) Le Page.
He married Emily Susan Edwards in 1866,[1] at St. Paul's Church, Melbourne.[2][3]
He died in 1913,[4] at his residence, 'Rose Villa,' South Morang, although the place of death is recorded as "Yan Yean" which is now known as Mernda and a short distance from South Morang.[5][6] The Age death notice lists the names of six children.
